Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse

Salary: From £27000 DOE

Location: Walton Cardiff (GL20 7SP)

Hours: Ideally you will work 40 hours a week between 8am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 1 in 3 8am- 1pm. Time given off in the week for working the Saturday. NO bank holidays, Sundays, in patient checks or OOHs. May consider two part timers for right candidates. Hours negotiable at interview.

Exciting opportunity for a second year SVN or RVN to join an established friendly team. We are currently undergoing an extension to provide more operating and consulting space and a CT scanner.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking nurse who would like to develop within a caring team. At Folly Gardens nurses are well utilised so we are looking for someone confident in basic nursing tasks however we will provide full support for further development within this role. CPD actively encouraged and certificates funded.

We are a busy practice with an exciting caseload including laparoscopic techniques, endoscopy, radiography and advanced imaging including CT. We have vets that specialise in orthopaedics and advanced soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dermatology and have a visiting ophthalmologist.

We are a 4 branch practice in the Tewkesbury and Cheltenham area. You will be based in the main clinic in Walton Cardiff Tewkesbury but we also have a first opinion clinic in Bishops Cleeve and Leckhampton and a branch within Tewkesbury offering routine consultations, which you may be required to work at any of the above practices to provide holiday cover.
