Due to an internal move, we are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Medivet Thorpe Bay Shoebury Road.

At full capacity we are a 3-vet team supported by 4 RVNs, 2 Student Nurses and 6 Client Care Assistants. We are happy to consider all levels of experience. The successful candidate will have the support from our experienced Vet and Branch Partner, Van with career development encouraged.

We work to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends.

Salary package up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience, to include:

We also offer relocation allowances should you move more than 50 miles from your current home address.

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

The practice is equipped with in-house lab, small portal ultrasound, separate cat and dog wards plus isolation area.

We also have certificate holders in Small Animal Surgery and Aquaculture.

We feed into our Southend 24-Hour Hospital just 10 minutes down the road. Here all out of hour care is managed by our dedicated night team, as well as access to CT and MRI.
