The City of Jefferson is currently accepting applications for full-time Bus Driver for JeffTran. Join the JeffTran team to be a part of something great! Drivers provide safe, courteous, on-time bus transportation and customer service on assigned city routes and/or para-transit service; perform pre-trip safety inspections; and provide assistance to persons with disabilities when necessary.
Must have excellent customer service skills, outstanding dependability, and ability to accurately and thoroughly complete paperwork, work safely, communicate clearly, sit for extended periods, work in extreme weather conditions, and aid disabled passengers.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; and a MO Class B CDL with passenger endorsement within two weeks of hire, necessary training provided.
Applicants with felony convictions in the last 5 years or DUI in the last 10 years will not be considered.
Hiring is dependent on successful completion of DOT Physical, pre-employment drug screening, criminal history, and drivers license's check.
JeffTran operates Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
