Would you like to work for a well-established, forward thinking 100% independent small animal practice? If so, then please read on as we have the perfect job for you…

Our client is located in a picturesque village in the county of Stirlingshire in Scotland. Perfectly located, the village of Bonnybridge is only 4 miles west of Falkirk and 8 miles southwest of Stirling. This family run veterinary practice has been providing expert animal care for many years and has a very loyal client base. They are expanding and require an experienced vet to join their close-knit, friendly team of 2 vets, 5 RVNs & SVNs. Good medical & surgical skills would be required as there will be times when the position is sole charge.

The practice itself is modern and well-equipped with up-to-date technology including digital radiography, DR dental radiography, Doppler BP, Referral level colour doppler ultrasound, Surgivet multi-parameter monitor, electrocautery, ECG, Idexx in-house laboratory equipment (inc Catalyst, procyte, Snapshot, UA & Vcheck) and much more.

You will see a varied surgical caseload at the practice and they also have a particular interest in dentistry with the intention of offering endodontic treatments in the near future. They are also a Training Practice so mentoring student nurses will be required but RVNs carry out all Clinical Coach duties. The practice is working towards RCVS accreditation.

The successful candidate will be a friendly, enthusiastic, dedicated individual with excellent communication skills. You will need to have a genuine compassion for animal care and work well within a team.

The Rota:
  • Full time role
  • Monday - Friday shift pattern either 8am - 4pm or 11am - 7pm
  • 1:3 Saturday mornings (9am - 12pm)
  • No OOH
The Benefits:

  • 28 days annual leave
  • CPD encouraged and funded
