Weekend Veterinary Receptionist

£11.35ph plus benefits

Join our 24/7 emergency and speciality referral hospital in Manchester

Vets Now are the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care, providing a trusted service to more than 1400 veterinary practices – from dedicated out-of-hours clinics and three 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. You will be joining a dedicated team of Vets, Nurses, Animal Care Assistants, Receptionists in our 24/7 emergency and speciality referral Manchester Hospital. The Vets Now Pet Emergency Hospital in Manchester provides both a first-class referral service and an out-of-hours emergency service for veterinary practices in and around the Manchester area.

Our Receptionists are often the first point of contact when a client calls or arrives at the hospital. Our Reception teams greet clients, take calls, and handle financial transactions. You will also be responsible for handling challenging administration duties that comes with insurance queries and referring practices. Our Receptionists are a friendly face and listening ear when our clients need it most, and valued support for clinical teams.

Working pattern

We are looking for three skilled receptionists who can commit to the following four week rolling rota patterns:

Vacancy 1:

Week 1: Off

Week 2: Off

Week 3: Sunday from 16:00 to 23:00

Week 4: Saturday from 16:00 to 23:00 and Sunday from 16:00 to 23:00

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.

Vacancy 2:

Week 1: Sunday from 14:00 to 19:00

Week 2: Off

Week 3: Sunday from 09:00 to 15:00

Week 4: Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.

Vacancy 3:

Week 1: Off

Week 2: Sunday from 14:00 to 19:00

Week 3: Sunday from 14:00 to 19:00

Week 4: Sunday from 14:00 to 19:00

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
