Job description
We have a great opportunity for a receptionist to join the team at our Ballynahinch clinic.
You will be the first point of contact for clients, both by telephone and in clinic, and will provide a first class level of customer care. You will organize the clinic’s diary, manage the waiting room and handle queries; providing the essential link between our clients and clinicians.
A calm, can do attitude is a must, as you will be dealing with all scenarios from a pet’s first, happy visit to the vet, to end of life conversations. You should be able to work under pressure as it is a busy and demanding role.
Previous reception experience is preferred and if you have experience within the veterinary industry, that would be an advantage. You should be computer literate and able to see tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
You will be working with a great team of clinical and administrative staff who will support you in your front of house role.
This is a full-time role, but we would consider a job share arrangement for the right candidates. The clinic is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8.30am – 7pm and Tuesday, Thursday 8.30am – 5pm. Shifts will be a mixture of early and late within these hours.
