Full time Registered Veterinary Nurse role in an independent practice.
Overview:
- Full time with no out of hours cover.
- Weekend rota 1 in 3 weekends with a day off the following week.
- Annual salary and progress review.
- Salary from £24,000, dependent on experience.

About this role:
Our nursing staff work in all areas of the practice. This includes husbandry, blood sampling,
intravenous catheter placement, intravenous fluid therapy, drug administration, patient monitoring and nurse clinics.
Duties include:
- Overseeing auxiliaries and student veterinary nurses; laboratory work including in house Idexx - Catalyst & laser cyte machines, Vet scan Imagyst, microscope work; preparation of samples for external laboratories
- Assisting with a variety of surgical procedures
- Dealing with client queries over the phone & face to face
- Assist with training of auxiliary staff & SVN’s
- Variety of shifts on a rota Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, 12-8pm or 1-9pm
- Weekends: Saturdays 8am-4pm, Sundays 8.30-4pm

The practice is based in the Northwest of England, just outside the market town of Frodsham. There is fast and easy access to Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, and North Wales. We also enjoy our close proximity to Delamere Forest.
