Hours: 40 hours per week; 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday + 1 in 4 weekends; Saturday 8am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm with time in lieu the following week
Your role and responsibilities
Maven Veterinary Care have a rare opportunity for a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our multiple award-winning teams on a full-time basis.
We are a friendly team who enjoy a close relationship with our clients. We are dedicated to excellent customer care, which helps us with our ultimate aim of keeping pets living as long, happy and healthy lives as possible. We currently have a team of 13 RVNs with 2 SVNs, 4 VCAs, 9 Vets, 6 of whom have post graduate certificates, a supportive Client Care team and administrative team.
We are well established in the area, our clients are dedicated and bonded, and they want the highest quality people to be looking after their pets. A typical day at Maven sees an interesting and varied caseload. There are a variety of 8-hour shifts to ensure VCAs have the opportunity to rotate through their various disciplines. Our VCAs are highly skilled and valued team members. Actively participate in daily rounds, monthly team meetings, all working towards improving patient care.
All VCAs are empowered to utilise their skills in managing patients, supporting the nurse and vet teams. They are encouraged and supported to follow their passions and drive their careers.
