Location: Magna Carta Island and London Centre

UKIIC Accelerator, a leading event management company specializing in unique event spaces, cross-border engagement, and comprehensive event solutions for clients from China and the UK, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Venue Management Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the management and operations of our venues on Magna Carta Island and in the London Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of venue operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and exceptional client experiences at both Magna Carta Island and the London Centre.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure timely setup, maintenance, and breakdown of venues for events.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the venues to ensure they are well-maintained, clean, and meet health and safety standards.
  • Manage venue bookings and scheduling, ensuring efficient utilization of space and resources.
  • Collaborate with the Event Management team to understand client requirements and provide appropriate support and guidance regarding venue facilities and logistics.
  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of venue-related services, such as catering, audio-visual equipment, transportation, and security.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing service level agreements.
  • Monitor and manage venue budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and accurate financial reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in venue management, implementing innovative ideas to enhance the client experience and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in venue management.
  • Experience with venue booking systems and event management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours and travel between Magna Carta Island and London Centre as required.
