Assistant Manager/Care Home Team Leader
We are looking for a Care Home Team Leader/Assistant Manager in Cambridgeshire for a 25+ bed care home.
NB: We can offer Sponsorship for Tier 2 visa for the highly deserving candidate and who will meet the Home Office requirements.

Location: Cambridgeshire (reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Salary: Competitive depends on the experience & suitable education
Schedule: 40hrs/week: Monday to Friday + on call on weekends
When needed have to work as a Team Leader
As Care Home Team Leader/Assistant Manager you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the quality of care provided to our clients meets the standards set by the company while complying with CQC regulations.
- Managing and motivating the staff team to meet the care needs of people we support.
- Engaging will all stakeholders of the home (residents, staff, resident relatives and other external agencies) to maintain quality service at the home.
- Working with the provider to create a commercially viable care home whilst maintaining service quality.
- Attending all meetings on behalf of the home.
- Salary - depending on experience and credentials.

Experience:
Care home deputy management: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification: UK driving license (Preferred)
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To provide care for the residents on a daily basis undertaking direct nursing
and general care, as required, including periods on night duty when
necessary
2. To contribute positively to the setting and development of measurable standards of care relevant to the speciality and participate in the introduction and maintenance of such strategies
3. To be responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care programs, including recreational activity
4. To participate in the training of care assistants and other learners to promote the well being of the residents
5. To contribute to the professional development of trained staff, encouraging
the development of research based practice, with a view to meeting PREPP requirements (If Applicable)
6. To continually update own professional knowledge
7. To maintain effective communication systems and practice throughout the home, with the Manager, Team Leader, Seniors and Carers and Senior Nurses, attending meetings as required. Liaise with night staff as necessary
8. To promote good relations with the public, residents relatives, GP’s and all other external professional and statutory bodies
9. To ensure that the company’s policies and procedures, Health and Safety policies and Health Authority standards are adhered to and monitored
10. To carry out other duties as will, from time to time be directed
11. To carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard for the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, residents and other persons within the company
12. To work within one’s own professional scope of practice and adhere to the UKCC code of conduct (If Applicable) at all homes.
