The Filta Group Ltd are now seeking FILTAVENT Trainee Technicians to be agile / mobile employees provide services within Greater London and its surrounding areas.
Job Summary
Your role would be working on installations / servicing of Automated Extraction Ductwork Cleaning Systems. Grease Management systems, completing planned maintenance and reactive calls, updating customer portals, completing detailed reports to include works completed as well as further works required.
You will commence work as a Trainee Vent Technician and the Company will provide all necessary training. You will attend a Grease Hygiene Technician course to TR19 compliance standards to become a fully qualified FiltaVent Engineer.
Location:
Agile Working - travelling to sites within your region as required / occasional attendance at Filta Office Sites.
There will be a need to be flexible with a willingness to work away nationally on occasions and overnight stays away from home as required by the needs of the business.
You Key Responsibilities:
- Providing full "one stop shop" installation and service visits, attending sites within your region on a daily / overnight basis - working with our Service Controllers to ensure “Just in Time” responsiveness to customer expectations;
- Maximising the use of our technology including updating customer portals and providing real time updates;
- Working closely with a nominated "buddy", providing customer facing support.
Your Experience:
You will Ideally have a minimum of 1 year's FOG / VENT experience (although this is not essential as full training will be given).
Your Skills and attributes:
- Valid UK driving licence;
- CSCS Card ( The Company will put you through this is you do not have one)
- NVQ Level II (or equivalent) in a related field
- (e.g. plumbing, mechanical, technician or similar)
- A basic knowledge of electrics
- IT literate with proficiency in use of hand-held deployment devices;
- Practical problem solver;
- Flexibility with the willingness to learn new concepts and skills both incrementally and with training;
- Professional and customer focused;
- Focused on getting the job done right, first time and every time
- Confident and efficient communicator.

Basic Salary: Trainee start rate £25,000 rising to £30K per year once qualified. Overtime paid at enhanced rates. Unsociable Hours Supplements payable when on-call / applicable.
