Due to the winning of a new contract, we are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join a mechanical department based at BCA Corby (Baird Road Site)
This role is ideal for a Level 3 Technician who will be the technical support on site, comfortable with organising your own workload to achieve sites' targets.

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (42.5 hours per week)

Salary: £36,565.00 per annum

What you’ll be doing….

  • Carry out general servicing of vehicles, repairs and MOT checks (if qualified)
  • Complete air conditioning services as and when required
  • Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
  • Undertake road and ramp testing
  • Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition
  • Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed

Who you are….

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector
  • Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (required)
  • Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years
  • You must own your own tools / basic kit
