The Role
We are seeking a Vehicle Preparation Manager to join our Technical Services division and manage our newly developed Humber operation tailored towards used vehicle preparation. This role will see you lead day to day operations across the site including full accountability for the site performance and line management of the operational department teams for processing in excess of 20,000 per annum. This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, and offers the right candidate a chance to join a successful Group with high employee engagement.
The key responsibilities in this role include;
As Vehicle Preparation Manager, you will have overall accountability for people and performance for our Immingham operation. With support from the Board, Senior team colleagues as well as Head Office functions, you will:
· Lead, manage and motivate a team of automotive technical staff, ensuring the operation is adequately resourced and skilled to meet Company and Customer objectives.
· Drive a high-performance culture, ensuring performance is recognised and underperformance is managed.
· Ensure operational performance meets day to day delivery of Company and customer KPI's and SLA’s.
· Set objectives for each department, and plan accordingly to ensure efficiency and product targets are met.
· Accurately produce and finalise reporting, in line with group reporting frameworks.
· Development and delivery of Company and business strategies to support objectives and projects.
· Whilst developing and delivering best practice approach you will work with colleagues at the broader Northern technical sites to standardise optimal processes and procedures across the Group.
· Support the Company and operation to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Ensure all activities are conducted in line with GBA Group, manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
Experience Required;
Given the nature of this role, it is required that you have previous experience at General Manager level or above, within the automotive industry. High volume used vehicle preparation experience in a similar role would be beneficial. In addition to your previous experience, we are seeking individuals who display the following attributes:
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a large and diverse team
· A professional and calm approach with strong stakeholder management skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
· Strong and well evidenced IT literacy with an ability to perform data manipulation, analysis and presentation
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee potential barriers

Salary Range of $45,000 to $55,000 per annum, depending on skill and experience.
