WHAT TO EXPECT An opportunity exists for a talented Vehicle Efficiency Attribute Lead Engineer who can support the delivery of Vehicle Efficiency attributes that befit modern luxury vehicles (real world and homologated fuel economy / CO2 emissions, and, real world and homologated EV driving range and energy consumption). You'll get to operate in an agile environment that provides flexibility to focus on value and support advancement for electric vehicles for one of the most technically advanced vehicle designers and manufacturers in the world. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Act as a key member of the integrated energy management squad who deliver on fuel economy, CO2 emissions and electric range and efficiency targets for JLR's products (Range Rover and Defenders) Deliver Vehicle Efficiency attributes for JLR's next generation of EU7-compliant xHEV vehicles, and additionally on future battery electric vehicles Shape JLR vehicle architecture for the future (the role will grow with future initiatives). WHAT YOU'LL NEED Experience of Vehicle attribute and/or vehicle system delivery Knowledge of vehicle efficiency legislative homologation/certification methods, processes and implementation Technical understanding of which aspects of the vehicle affect vehicle-level efficiency, consumption, CO2 and range SO WHY US?
