We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Carer to provide 24-hour care for a clients within in their own home. As a Live-In Carer, you will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting with mobility and transferring
  • Administering medication as prescribed
  • Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
  • Performing light housekeeping duties
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's health and wellbeing
  • Working closely with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure the client's needs are met


Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 6 months of experience as a live-in carer or similar role, however full training, supervision and support is given to all successful candidates.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide physical and emotional support to clients
  • Compassionate and patient nature
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

What HFH Healthcare needs from you as a Healthcare Assistant:

  • You must be over 18 to apply
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Flexibility on travel - some shifts may require you to drive or have access to public transport
  • A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
  • An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration
