The Role @ The Chinese Room
We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated Producer to join our team at The Chinese Room! In this role, you will manage production to ensure game content is delivered within scope and on schedule, in collaboration with our multi-disciplined development teams. Here, you will be primarily responsible for our Art & Animation content production.
This role is a Hybrid role and will require 3 days onsite in the studio in Brighton.
In this role you will be:
- Responsible for managing the production and delivery of art and animation on our titles.
- Helping to create and manage project schedules.
- Planning and driving sprints ensuring goals are clearly defined and met.
- Identifying and resolving conflicts between schedule, capacity and project goals.
- Liaising with other disciplines to ensure dependencies are identified and Art is integrated smoothly.
- Helping to improve best practices for the art/animation teams.
- Organising and managing Art documentation.
To be successful, you will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience working in similar roles in games development, ideally having shipped at least one game.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- An understanding of a project management concepts (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) tools and approaches.
- Experience of MS Project and/or Azure DevOps Boards.
It would be great if you had:
- A background in art/animation content production.
- Knowledge of 3D art/animation workflows and asset management.
- An ability to communicate art/animation direction and quality standards to, particularly, external teams.
