Job description

Responsible for driving the organization's van, the Van Driver is responsible for making sure that any necessary repairs are completed and that fuel is regularly purchased. The Van Driver is also responsible for ensuring that the van is capable of making trips and keeping a record of mileage. The right candidate must be a reliable and safe driver who can help support the business' operations by driving to several locations, making sure that all necessary paperwork is filled out and made available to the appropriate offices, and tolerating a moderate level of physical discomfort.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily deliveries of pallets or stock
  • Communicate with management and other employees using a two-way radio or cellular phone.
  • Operate a vehicle, including the use of hand controls and mobile lift to load and unload pallets or stock
  • Monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is in working order.
