We now have an exciting opportunity for a Van Driver to join the team at our new Branch in Launceston. This is a varied role driving one of our vans, delivering building materials to customers and sites. In addition to working in our branch, you will support the team in our busy Yard, loading vehicles and providing a great, all-round service to our customers. As you will be driving a company van, a full, clean driving licence is essential.

Alongside driving the van, we will put you through our Driver Training Programme and give you the opportunity to become a qualified LGV Driver. On successful completion of your training, alongside your normal Sales Assistant role, you will become a relief LGV Driver, providing cover when our regular drivers are absent from the branch. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills and in doing so, we can guarantee a lot of variety in your role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of team, wants to learn about our business and most importantly, has a can-do attitude and wants to work in a customer focussed role. Experience of working in a merchant environment or similar, along with a valid forklift licence would be great but it’s not essential.

In return, we offer 30 days annual leave a year (inclusive of Bank Holidays) with that rising to 33 days a year once you have completed a years’ service.
