Job description
Small Van and LWB Van - PAYE drivers required for immediate start.
1stClass Logistics UK Ltd are a relatively large transport company based in Reading and Basingstoke, but are growing rapidly due to our service levels we provide.
We need drivers that are clean, on time and professional. Reputation and service delivery is key to our business, as such we cannot afford to have drivers that will risk us losing work through delivering a poor service to our customers.
We do not wish to employ someone that would simply be a ‘number’, we wish to employ people that are good team members and someone that would fit in well with the team we have already established. All our drivers help one another and have close communication to the people within our office, we are all a team working together.
There is no multi drop work, on average our drivers deliver 1.5 drops a day for a varied type of client, no two days are the same.
Our customers often book us last minute, this leads to frequent changes, we need people that can adapt to change at short notice.
Candidate Requirements:
· Full UK Driving Licence
· You will be required 5 days a week Monday – Friday, various hours- will include early starts and late finishes, therefore flexibility is a must.
· Meeting agreed time schedules and remaining flexible to meet the needs of the business.
· Communicate with our customers face to face, remaining calm and polite at all times, you are the face of the company!
· Good geographical knowledge of the UK and experience of driving in London
· Excellent attention to detail, deadline driven with a ‘can do’ attitude
· Must live within 15 miles of Reading or Basingstoke.
