About us
Studio Cambridge was founded in Cambridge in 1954 and is the oldest and largest established language school in the city. It is a privately owned, independent school and therefore not part of a large chain. It is renowned for its friendly, family atmosphere with both students and staff. The school is recognised by the British Council and is a member of English UK. Studio Cambridge is open throughout the year, teaching English to overseas students.
Positions
We are looking for a cleaner and a gardener. the positions could be separate or combined:
1. Cleaner for 3 hours per evening/ 15 hours per week, starting between 4.30 and 6.30pm Monday-Friday paid @ £13.00 p/h plus holiday pay. There is potential for additional hours some Sunday evenings or Monday mornings.
2. Gardener for 3-5 hours per week paid @ £13.00 p/h plus holiday pay.
Duties include:
- Cleaning classrooms and communal areas- hallways, corridors, stairs
- Locking up
- Weeding and planting a small garden followed by maintenance of the garden
Holidays
Positions come with 28 days' paid holiday per year. We are closed for 2 weeks over the Christmas period. We have our peak time in July and we are open during school holidays.

The right candidates will be:

- hard-working
- reliable
Previous experience will be beneficial for the cleaning position but not essential as we will provide training. Previous experience essential for the gardening position.
