UX/UI Designer Remote
Job description
At Nowsite, we’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer who can transform user insights into visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our public sites. In this role, you’ll collaborate with various teams to ideate solutions, considering multiple perspectives and client journeys. As part of our Experience Design team within Digital Marketing, you’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse web projects across different brands and contribute to our design systems. Responsible for:
- Understanding business requirements and user needs to define, present, and deliver solutions that ensuring our public sites’ UI support the best practice experience of our content for end-users
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and hi-fi mockups using design systems and brand style guides
- Designing and maintaining components in Figma and content usage guidelines
- Collaborating with product owners and senior UX/UI designer to contribute to the design systems
- Collaborating with our developers to communicate design specifications and QA interfaces during production
- Presenting design solutions to various business and marketing stakeholders
- Contributing to our user-centric culture and identifying opportunities to improve our design process and standards
Required qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in UX/UI design in professional settings
- Expert proficiency with Figma
- Experience following and contributing to design systems and content guidelines
- Experience designing for responsive web, mobile devices, and web accessibility principles
- A strong UI toolkit (typography, layout, visual design) and familiarity with UX design processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate deliberate user-centric design decisions to various stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and consistency, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and flexible in managing multiple projects and brands, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- University degree or certification in user experience design, human computer interaction (HCI), interaction design or related field
Strong plus if you have:
- Basic understanding of front-end code (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
- Familiarity with agile development and scrum methodology
- Agency or consulting experience
Remote Workspace Requirements
- You have a safe, comfortable, and ergonomic workspace and working environment - a private and quiet workspace is vital for doing your best work!
- You have a reliable ethernet connection of at least 30Mbps upload speed with a wired connection or reliable WiFi at home.
