SCHEDULE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.
- Fully own the planning, execution and reporting of evaluative, usability, and generative projects for our multiple products and experiences.
- Recommend research projects based on business challenges and opportunities.
- Leverage your insights and data to guide team members in understanding our users and present to product, design and engineering stakeholders.
- Influence decisions to ensure that product and design solutions are aligned with user needs and expectations.
- Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.
- Visually suggest simple UX design solutions based on your research projects.
- Construct resources such as user personas, journey maps, and/or user stories as needed.
- Utilize existing research processes and resources.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience
- 3+ years of experience with user research such as moderated/unmoderated usability testing (remote and/or in person), surveys, and interviews.
- Prior experience working with web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Omniture, Google Analytics, or CoreMetrics) and experience working with Technology teams to implement and/or update systems and related tagging
- Experience with GUI design, mobile product development and website development
- Experience with B2C interactive product
- Experience with mobile products, B2C services, and the agile approach to software development
- Experience performing in-depth analysis of online traffic for Web and mobile channels
Education
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.

Computer/Office Equipment Skills
- Intermediate/advanced level with Sketch, Axure, Zeplin, InVision, Atomic, or another wireframe/prototyping tool
Managerial Responsibility
Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities

- Genuine curiosity to problem solve and understand people’s behaviors and attitudes.
- Ability to combine synthesized data & learnings from multiple sources to bring research insights to life.
- Presentation and reporting skill that concisely and clearly distills tactical & strategic opportunities to the team.
- Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
- A command of design tools including Figma (or similar design program).
- Experience with user research platforms such as Userlytics, Userzoom, and Usertesting is a plus.
