HGV Class 2 Driver - Nationwide

HIAB use in role, full training available. Overnights during week (Stay and parking paid)

Immediate Start - Overtime available

Woodlands Home & Garden Group Ltd, a Rodley based garden building manufacturer, are looking for reliable nationwide delivery drivers with a Class 2 licence.

The role is Monday to Friday with early morning starts and some overnight stays. You may also be required to work Saturdays on occasion. Please note that you will be loading the vehicle yourself so you will need to be physically fit.

The vacancy is a permanent job role. Applicants must have their own sat nav and have experience of driving nationwide.

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver timber garden buildings to customers that have either ordered over the phone or online. You will be required to drive a vehicle suited to your license and skillset, in a safe and responsible manner.

The role includes:

• Vehicle checks and checking the load is secure throughout the day.
• Dealing with customers face to face, often at their homes.
• Using customer service skills to ensure the customer receives the product in good condition and in a manner they find helpful.
• Delivery of components kerbside, with safety at the forefront of the decisions you make.
• Completion of the required paperwork.
• Meeting time slots agreed by the customer and notifying the appropriate people should delays occur.
• Completing all deliveries and returning to the yard to hand in the paperwork
• Health and safety management of you and your vehicle
