We are a focussed team of exceptionally talented engineers, developers and designers committed to helping Santander deliver value through use of latest technologies and ideas including blockchain, AI, Chatbots, Big Data etc. and developing our team through continued learning and challenging the ways of working to accelerate innovation trough agility, design thinking and hypothesis driven development.

The difference you’ll make.

• Creating detailed and thorough as-is analysis of products and processes
• Utilising appropriate UX research methods to engage users and stakeholders, analyse feedback to iteratively enhance the solution
• Creating low and high-fidelity prototypes, support testing and demonstrate the solution to project stakeholders
• Working directly with users and product owners to fully understand the requirements and ensure this is validated with users prior to the creation of any design artefacts
• Facilitating team workshops and ideation sessions
• Engaging with primary users and other external project stakeholders (e.g. design community) to design ‘to-be’ processes and UI designs

What you’ll bring.

• Experience using rapid prototype tools (such as Axure), running user tests and analysis to inform decision in the design and development of software
• Solid experience of developing wireframes, user journeys, prototypes and UI designs as part of an overall solution design using tools such as Figma, Sketch, inVision or Abstract
• Working to accessibility standards (including WCAG) and knowledge of accessibility obligations in the UK
• Ability to lead a community of UX designers within the company, sharing knowledge and providing feedback and suggestions about design tools and ways of working

It would also be nice for you to have.

• Ability to understand the limitations and opportunities provided by Digital channels such as internet and mobile
• Ability to collect, analyse and condense complex and dispersed information
• Ability to work in multiple projects at the same time, getting a good understanding of the requirements in every project and contribute adding designs and ideas quickly

What else you need to know.

This is a permanent role based in Milton Keynes. Expectation to be in the office 40% of the week.
