A successful family run business retailing and installing premium quality window coverings are recruiting a Field Sales Representative / Design Consultant.
The team at Perfect has grown due to continued success (market leader since est. in 1994) and ongoing investment into the business and are committed to sustained growth and further recruitment.
About the Role
Our successful applicant will have a strong understanding of a sales process with a proven track record of closing deals and building customer relationships, leaving our customers with absolute confidence in our company and products.
A regular supply of leads will be provided in addition to the sales representative being proactive in seeking out self-generated sales opportunities, in and around the North West, via home visits.
Experience in the home improvement industry is desired, but not essential.
Requirements
As our design consultant you will be our expert in recommending and selling our Perfect Shutters. Driving sales and delivering excellent customer service, to help grow the business and brand. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and will be involved in the following;
- Be a true ambassador for our company and its products.
- Achieve targets
- Conduct effective sales presentations in the prospect's home by clearly communicating features and benefits, to meet the customer requirements.
- Help customers with design, configuration and material choices.
- After conducting a sales presentation, maximise every sales opportunity with effective follow-up communication.
- Communicate with your wider sales team to share best practices and help improve standards.
- Report back relevant market research, competitor activity/monitoring.
- To ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as processing and recording sales documentation.
- Prepare and communicate professional customer quotations, proposals, and other documentation as required.
- Work with the internal customer services team to support the customer journey.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience.
- Proven track record and success rate at levels above target.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills - ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
- Negotiation and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Willingness to adapt and implement new sales methods.
- Time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and close sales in a timely manner.
- Ability to contact customers, complete sales and manage other tasks independently.
- A team player.
