Our current product affordIQ is a phone app that helps first home buyers understand what homes they can afford now and in the future, while setting a budget to buy where and when they want.

The role of a data analyst is to collect, analyse, and interpret data to extract insights and support data-driven decision-making within an organization.

Responsibilities:

- Collect and analyse large datasets from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights.

- Clean, transform, and pre-process data to ensure accuracy and reliability.

- Perform statistical analysis and apply appropriate data modelling techniques.

- Develop and maintain data reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and insights effectively.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine data requirements for projects.

- Identify and propose data-driven solutions to improve business operations or address specific challenges.

- Monitor data quality, identify data issues, and work towards data integrity and consistency.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data analysis methodologies and tools.

- Provide support in data-related projects and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.

- Ensure data governance and compliance by following data privacy regulations and industry best practices

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Proficiency in data analysis techniques and statistical methodologies.

- Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as MySQL, Python.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques to present insights visually, preferably using Orange

- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Prior experience in data analysis using KNIME, business intelligence, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience in Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Jupyter Notebook

- Experience in any one of Apache Superset, Metabase, Redash or BIRT

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
