Job Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic, customer obsessed and highly collaborative UX Designer to join our growing UX & Design function. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative and high-profile digital projects across web, mobile and retail in partnership with other product delivery teams within Betfred.
Job Duties- Work on a wide range of Betfred digital touchpoints including web, mobile and retail platforms.
- Be involved in all aspects of the UX process as part of project delivery including project setup, research, ideation, prototyping and final high-fidelity design.
- Work with project stakeholders to fully understand requirements and ensure your outputs are on brand, consider customer insights and harness our Design systems where necessary.
- Conduct UX research in support of your UX work including competitor studies, expert reviews and usability testing.
- Develop user personas, user stories, gather data and metrics that could inform design decisions and help second guess user needs.
- Run collaborative sessions with project stakeholders, such as ideation workshops to harness knowledge from the business and gather a wide volume of ideas.
- Use Figma to create mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes and high fidelity design work.
- Play an active role in UX team routines to provide updates on our work, provide feedback on your team members outputs and share knowledge.
- Play an active role in promoting design and UX thinking in wider product development process within Sharp Gaming and Betfred.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
-
Ideally significant experience including time within a significant creative agency or corporate UX team.

A confident communicator who is comfortable in workshop environment and can lead collaborative sessions with stakeholders.

You will be passionate about UX and digital and enjoy sharing knowledge with fellow UX team members and be proactive in helping us innovate our processes.

You will have a highly user centred and collaborative UX approach and enjoy working with other departments to explore and develop new product enhancements.

Great knowledge of industry standard UX process and software applications - Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud are a must.

Strong understanding of how to design for multiple devices such as, mobile, tablet, desktop & native apps. Knowledge of Design systems and component driven design is a must.

We would like to see a portfolio of good examples of significant project work with an emphasis on your process and problem-solving capability, not just the end result.
Desirable
- Experience of working either in an E-Commerce, Gambling, or fast passed growing industry would be an advantage.
- Experience of common UX research tools would be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as graphic design, interaction design or computer science
What is in it for me?
