Job description

Reporting to the Head of Product, the UX Designer role will be focused on making our products and services usable, enjoyable and accessible. Using data insight to create intuitive, user-friendly and engaging designs for digital products and services, taking into account the organisation's brand, user needs and business objectives.

Your days will be a mixture of tactical and strategic work, as we strive as a team to fix existing problems and concurrently output design solutions for identified opportunities.

Everything you do will have research at its core, understanding the needs and values of the business and our customers. You’ll work closely with the Product owner and stakeholders, being part of a team creating the requirements, not simply inheriting them.

Responsibilities:
Understand the needs of the Everyday Health Group and its customers

Undertake and present research-led user centric insights to demonstrate the positioning and benefits of the product

Identify new product opportunities that will help us deliver against business objectives

Create and present high-level wireframes, detailed user journeys and interactive prototypes that encourages stakeholder buy-in

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on-brand creative solutions and design output for a variety of uses: websites, mobile applications, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, video, and photography

Ensure designs align with technical and brand standards

Analyse user feedback and data to continually optimise solutions and make informed decisions

Test your work (with usability front of mind) with customers and colleagues

Create, update, and share user interface guidelines and specifications

Support the commercial sales team to produce high quality and engaging presentations, concepts, pitches and proposals, and amend presentations to meet our consistently high visual standards

Promote UX as a discipline and showcase the value it brings across the business

Essentials

Proven experience working in UX and cross-platform design

Strong knowledge of user-centred design principles and accessibility and usability standards

Experience using design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision

Strong knowledge of UX Empathy and customer journey mapping and UX analytical tools

Experience educating stakeholders and team members in the value of UX design and Agile ways of working

Bring a problem-solving outlook to challenges and opportunities

Passionate, humble and talented, who enjoys working as part of a team

Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work in an adaptable way

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
