Job description
Due to several exciting new projects, we are currently recruiting accredited and experienced civils operatives/gangs to join our fast-growing Leicester based company, working on full fibre upgrades and builds.
We are looking for operatives to work in the Cardiff and surrounding areas.
**Great rates** Optional of PAYE or subcontractor. Opportunities for extra training and accreditations to be gained. Rates vary- price work available
Applicant MUST have Smarts Awards (NOPS) and BT/Virgin Media accreditation and have experience in Telecoms.
Accreditations required
· NOPS cards to work on the Open Reach network
· NRSWA
· Duct laying
· SA006
· Modular Box Build
· Core drilling
· Driving Licence (minimum 1 per gang)
· Health and Safety certificates e.g. confined spaces
· Machine ticket (minimum 1 per gang)
Responsibilities-
· Excavating in the highways and complying with NRSWA.
· Installing new duct work and chambers.
· Clearing blockages.
· Test, rod and roping.
· Communicating with internal colleagues, external clients and the general public.
· Upholding a positive, professional image of the company
