Position Title – Urgent Care Practitioner
Location – Cutlers Hill Surgery, Halesworth
Duration – Permanent
Salary – Competitive salary dependant on experience
Working hours – 37.5 hours per week working between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Urgent Care Practitioner to work alongside our four other Urgent Care Practitioners. We are looking for an autonomous practitioner, who can deliver a high standard of clinical care, prescribing not essential. We have a well-established practice team including 4 UCPs, one of which specialises in home visiting, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses, 1 Mental Health Nurse, 2 HCAs, two physios, two clinical pharmacists and a Care Coordinator along with GP’s and administrative staff. The practice is committed to innovation, development and providing excellent patient care. We are looking for a dedicated professional who shares the same values to join us.
Can you make professionally autonomous decisions?
See patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems and make an assessment of their health care needs?
Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness?
Make differential diagnosis using decision-making and problem-solving skills?
Develop care plans for health, with an emphasis on preventative measures?
Work collaboratively with other health care professionals and disciplines?
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of patient care. The successful candidate would join our well-established medical practice and expanding clinical team in a friendly and supportive team environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent patient skills, the ability to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining attention to detail, and work well in a team.
