Job description
The VC Gallery is seeking to employ a self- motivated, creative person for 2 or 3 days a week to facilitate and encourage the arts-based, creative engagement of our service users. We are a charity organisation supporting veterans and community members from our hubs in Pembroke Dock and Haverfordwest, and use the arts to encourage social interaction and connection to combat loneliness and isolation.

Most importantly the successful candidate will be people-centred, proactive and positive in creating opportunities for our service users to express and develop their creativity.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible, self-managing and prepared to undertake a range of duties from facilitating workshops to handling referrals and associated administrative duties. It is hoped the successful candidate will embrace the holistic approach of the service we offer and be enthusiastic about, and interested in, the interconnected and supportive nature of the wider work undertaken.
Training will be offered: Employee induction will include mandatory training in safeguarding and GDPR, while on the job training will include; dementia awareness, mental health first aid, active listening skills, equality diversity and inclusion. Individual management supervision will be provided.
