Role – Urban Designer
Location – London
Salary - £25 - £35K DOE
We are working with a multidisciplinary studio in London who now have an opening for an Urban Designer with 2-6 years of experience. As an Urban Designer, you will provide design inputs to high-profile international urban design projects, ranging from large-scale city strategies to district-scale masterplans.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional design skills, the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in urban design.
URBAN DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design of Pre-concept and Concept Masterplan schemes for high-profile urban design projects
- Develop urban design strategies, diagrams, and technical studies.
- Coordination between other team members and external consultants.
- As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play an active part in Client’s presentations, explaining urban design concepts and technical inputs.
URBAN DESIGNER KEY SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in Urban Design
- 2 – 5 years’ experience
- Good software skills in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch Up, as well as Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent hand drawing skills
- The ability to work and manage projects, with a strong attention to detail
- The ability to successfully manage time to meet project deadlines
- An excellent communicator
- A full UK driving licence
