As an Assistant Manager, your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with and supporting the store team in various key areas:
- Achieving store targets and objectives, such as occupancy levels, sales per square foot, insurance income, merchandise sales, and customer service.
- Submitting weekly KPI reports to the Operations team and effectively communicating the reasons behind changes in sales, occupancy, and square footage.
- Ensuring a thorough understanding and adherence to the Sales and Marketing brief by yourself and your colleagues.
- Implementing and upholding the Store Standard, ensuring all colleagues comprehend and follow it.
- Implementing and adhering to all policies, procedures, and routines, while promptly handling all requests and returns.
- Maintaining a strong focus on exceeding customer expectations and proactively driving sales through effective store marketing.
To effectively manage the onsite team, you will also:
- Work towards maximizing sales and identifying opportunities for growth, always following the sales process outlined in the Sales and Marketing brief for every customer interaction.
- Uphold the Store Standard, ensuring adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly routines and cleaning schedules.
- Actively execute the store's marketing plan, promoting the unique features and benefits of Magenta to both business and residential customers, while cultivating professional relationships with relevant businesses.
- Prioritize excellent customer service and consistently surpass customer expectations, with the customer's needs always coming first.
- Develop and lead a competent and efficient team, supporting their professional growth and performance.
- Conduct face-to-face interviews and actively search for qualified candidates when necessary.
- Ensure the store operates within budgetary constraints, minimizing customer debt in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff, promptly addressing any security, health, or safety issues and reporting them to the Operations Team.
- Uphold compliance with all company policies, procedures, and routines, as outlined in the store operations manual, while ensuring proper record-keeping and successful implementation of new initiatives.
Working Hours:
- The store operates 7 days a week, and occasional lone working may be required to uphold high customer service standards and fulfil key responsibilities.
- Key team members are expected to work 5 out of 7 days, with fluctuating hours depending on the rota structure.
