Job description
JF Customs is looking for an automotive trimmer / upholsterer, to assist in the development of our templates & patterns, as well as to further develop our fitting service.
The succesful candidate will be work closely with our design and production teams on many projects; The Job Responsibilities will include:
- Developing new patterns using leather, suede, vinyl, and other materials for automotive interior upholstery goods.
- Fitting leather covers on products for use in marketing and product development.
- Supporting R&D Team by digitising physical patterns to be utilised within our CNC systems.
- Making complete bespoke products for clients.
- Continuous improvement of existing products.
- Training of team members.
The ideal candidate will be confident in all aspects of Auto trimming, and pattern making. To re-trim a range of modern & classic cars including seat covers, door cards, dashboards, using materials such as leather, vinyl, Alcantara, adhesives and carpets.
Candidates should be knowledgable and experienced in pattern making, trimming of seats, panels, steering wheels etc.
Candidates should be experienced with using sewing machines.
Salary dependent on experience.
