University Librarian

We need a strong leader who can provide expert input and guidance to library teams and projects to develop an environment which will offer students a world-class education experience. You’ll have experience in leading library teams and understand how to deliver fantastic customer service to diverse learning, teaching and research communities, building on our track record as a Customer Service Excellence accredited Library for the 10th consecutive year!

The role requires strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills to work collaboratively with departments across the university as well as external partners. You’ll be able to work under pressure and balance a variety of different responsibilities to ensure teams have the support they need to deliver effective, high quality services to staff and students that align with our Learning and Teaching Strategy.
