Job Purpose
Supporting in the delivery of a first-class approach to maintaining and releasing exam results
As a university assessment officer, you will provide a first-class administrative and operational service in support of the running of Exams at BPP. You will be a key member of the Assessment Team (Results), working to support the maintaining and releasing of exam results, and providing excellent assessment services for BPP students. Where necessary you will be expected to assist other Assessment teams within the department during peak times which may include all regular administrative duties to ensure the success of assessment operations at BPP University.
What you’ll be doing
You will be maintaining and managing exam results databases, releasing Exam results and responding to CMS and email queries (from students, Schools, and other parts of the organisation).
You will also be liaising with University departments to provide information about completing students, preparing board reports such as Mitigating Circumstances, Appeals etc and preparing results list for Graduation, Academic Council, Student Records, list of resitters for finance and for regulators where relevant.

Candidate criteria
Candidate Criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification, however, applications from candidates with appropriate and relevant work experience will also be considered
- Experience of working in a professional academic support team, in a higher education academic support service or other relevant administrative setting
- Ability to use MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with students and staff in a helpful and professional manner
- Ability to set own goals in addition to achieving given targets and deadlines
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise a diverse and demanding workload working to often competing deadlines
- Ability to interpret and apply academic regulations and policies and apply them to your day-to-day work
- Evidence of analytical and problem-solving skills
