Programme Description

To give you a full understanding of UTB, you will spend five months in each of our lending teams where you will gain knowledge and see a wide variety of areas within each team. The teams are:

Mortgages – Where we offer a range of innovative first and second charge mortgages.

Property Development – Where we provide acquisition, construction and sales period funding to support the building activities of housebuilders and developers operating across

the UK.

Asset Finance – Where we provide funding for a variety of assets including classic and prestige cars, engineering machinery, HGVs and agricultural equipment.

Bridging Finance – Where we provide quick and flexible solutions for borrowers in a wide variety of circumstances.

You will then spend one month in our Credit Risk team and one month in our Compliance team. Both teams support and monitor the bank’s operations ensuring that we meet operational standards and regulatory requirements.

UTB will also fully fund graduates to complete the Chartered Banker Institute professional exams during the programme.

Post the programme you will have the opportunity to apply to join one of the teams where you and the Bank think you are most suited.

As part of the application process you will be asked to take part in an online preselection assessment. After which, the selected candidates will be invited to the office for an in person assessment day including an interview.
