Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time
Salary Package: £35,000 to £45,000 plus company benefits

The IT Service Asset & Configuration Management Analyst is to manage the lifecycle and configuration of our internal software and hardware assets as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. Day to day management, governance, and auditing for SCC IT’s internal lifecycle of physical and logical assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain CMDB (Configuration Management Database) to monitor and manage all devices and assets. Ensuring compliance, lifecycle management and auditing of hardware, software and licenses
- Software compliance with contractual / license obligations and entitlements
- Assign available Hardware / Software assets
- Responsible for the issue, audit and return of assets, managing the requests for loan hardware, including the recall of loaned items, to ensure the hardware items can be tracked and managed.
- Provides an effective interface between users, internal and external suppliers, procurement teams, licensing teams, group governance risk and compliance, finance teams, disposal teams and any other 3rd parties to ensure accurate information is recorded within the CMDB.
- Provides governance and control around processes, procedures and documentation.
Key Skills/Experience:
- A proven track record of Hardware, Software and Licensing Management
- Good understanding of IT asset management lifecycle processes
- Knowledge and experience of ITSM tooling
- An extensive understanding of Service Level Agreements and Service Level Management
