We are a whole food community restaurant in the heart of Downtown Squamish. For the last 12 plus years, we have been a close-knit team serving a dynamic and interesting community. We have equal parts hard work and fun as we go through our days. The goal is to have fun at work while efficiently serving the needs of our guests.
Job description
As a very busy small business, every shift will be a little different as we have to do everything from making coffee, smoothies, and cookies to customer service and cleaning up after ourselves. As a community hub, it will be expected that you can move quickly and multitask. With a horizontal management style, we are looking for people who will work with us and not for us to make a fun and interesting customer experience.
- Having coffee experience is a plus.
- We have a liquor license so you have to have Serving It Right and be of an age that you can serve alcohol.
-Food Safe level one is a definite benefit though we will help you get it if you don't have it. The expectation is that you work hard and work together.
-We expect that team members work at least one weekend day, to allow flexibility for all staff. Though we are quite flexible with shifting, team members must work various shifts to understand what other team members are going through. So there will be some early mornings and evening shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week
Salary: $18.75-$19.25 per hour
