About Fleet Mortgages
Fleet Mortgages is a major player in the specialist Buy to Let Mortgage market. Due to rapid new business growth, we are looking for an additional Underwriting Assistant to join our mortgage Underwriting Team in Fleet, Hampshire.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people who have strong administration skills, attention to detail and are computer literate. Previous experience in the mortgage industry is not essential for the role, as this is the perfect role to begin your career in the industry! You must be willing to learn and develop your skills and be comfortable working in a busy department.
We are able to consider part time applications for this role, we can be flexible on days/hours, please specify in your application your preference if you are looking to work part-time.
The Underwriting Administrator role
You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the mortgage underwriting team to enable them to progress mortgage applications through to offer stage. You will provide a professional, efficient and high standard of customer service to customers, intermediaries and valuers.
Key tasks will include:
- Print mortgage offers / revised mortgage offers, collating and packing for posting
- Allocate emails to the case files within the mortgage origination system
- Manually input valuation report data onto mortgage origination system
- Add reinspection reports to case files in mortgage origination system
- Chase Brokers for outstanding information / documentation to progress unwriting process
- Chase Post Valuation Query responses and booking updates
- Complete and review Limited Company Searches
- Manage document allocation for portfolio customers
- Deal with queries and enquiries effectively, accurately, and professionally, delivering excellent customer service
