Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with personality and passion for hospitality to join our winning team for a 12 month Undergraduate Programme.

It offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in hospitality whilst working in an independent and progressive business that puts individuals and people at the heart of its values.

We have designed a structured programme (full time, fixed term position) that enables you to get the most out of your time with us – spending time experiencing the key departments in the hotel, and getting a great hands on experience into how a hotel operates on a day to day basis. Ultimately, we want you to experience a fantastic year with us that will set you up for your future career.

During the programme you will be set a number of projects which will enable you to put your academic knowledge into practice. Towards the end of the programme, you will be set a final project which will result in you sharing your ideas and experiences with the management team of the hotel.

Personal Specification

You should have a warm, personable nature, a can-do attitude, excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail. You will know what it means to deliver outstanding hospitality and be able to understand and anticipate customer needs ensuring that our guest expectations are met and exceeded at all times. You will thrive on the challenge of a fast paced environment. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

Desirable - Previous experience in Food and Beverage or Hotel environment.

Benefits

In return for your passion and commitment, we offer a great package including meals on duty, up to 28 days holiday, a hotel recognition scheme, discounted use of hotel facilities, salary sacrifice scheme, work place pension and life assurance, employee assistance program, health plan, discounted hotel stays and a high street, local attraction and retail discount programme.
