Position Summary
We have a rare and exciting new opportunity available within The Glenrothes global brand team for a Global Marketing Manager (Global Communications) reporting to the Brand Director, The Glenrothes. The Glenrothes is an exclusive malt whisky. Success depends on recruiting discerning, high net worth clients across key cities globally and the role of Marketing Manager Global Communications is a pivotal leadership role, within the global brand team.
Job Description
The Global Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and delivering effective end-to-end brand communications across all consumer touchpoints (media, in-outlet, activations, experiential and partnerships).
  • Working with the Brand Director and Head of Creative, establish an advocacy focused communications platform and creation of related campaigns, to guide brand activity and all consumer communications.
  • Work closely with the NPD team to understand the NPD Roadmap and together agree how best to ensure each NPD launch contributes to building brand equity in line with the agreed Brand Strategy.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of launch campaigns across media and activations, aligning global and local market activation and ensuring a clear timing plan is in place to guide execution of product launch communications.
  • Own The Glenrothes ‘brand playbook’ and ensure the materials are in place to guide everyone in applying this consistently.
  • Define strategy (scope and purpose) and create global playbook to guide global and local brand partnerships.
  • Leads a central team tasked with inspiring engagement and excellence within local markets, to ensure that the global brand message is delivered consistently and effectively.
  • Establish a network of partner agencies to deliver brand assets and initiatives that align with our discerning luxury positioning.
  • As a senior member of the Marketing team, support the ongoing refinement of the Brand Strategy and play a central role in the annual Growth Planning process to create a clear annual plan that drives forward our brand strategy and inspires local market teams.
Skills and Experience
To take on the challenge of this role you will have significant communications experience and be a proven leader. You will ideally have worked on luxury / premium brands with an understanding of how to engage HNW clients. You will have the ability to work cross culturally and translate a clear global plan to local markets around the world. You will have strong project management skills and a proven track record of leading consumer communication planning and execution across multiple communication channels and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You will be highly motivated, self-driven with excellent attention to detail with the curiosity to learn from the very best in the luxury market.
