We are looking for a UK warehousing and Logistics Manager to manage and lead all Cytiva Warehousing and shipment in and out of the UK. To manage RAW material storage, site replenishment, intercompany shipments, sterilizing and FG shipments to drive 100% OTD per customers request date. Creating, directing, and executing Logistics strategies that will improve supply chain speed to market, delivery reliability, and support company growth. Deploy the Strategic Plan at the point of impact to deliver the expected results. managing the relationship with the 3PL providers, sites and fulfilment teams to assure standard and lean processes are followed by best in class and efficiency performances. Drive technology, systems, BI, automation to bring added value to customers to improve quality, deliveries, and fulfilment.
What you’ll do
- Create the roadmap of the UK Logistics operation with the sites, sterilization partners, 3PLS warehousing freighters and other DC operations
- Set the Technology, systems and BI roadmap to allow the business growth and world class fulfilment and quality.
- Standardize all warehousing and freight operation: Inbound, outbound, put away, quality cycle counts, RAW deliveries, intercompany shipments, FG… to assure lean and agile processes
- Control and manage warehouse activities whilst implementing global real time tools.
- Manage the relationships with the world leading logistics partners
- Manage the warehousing cost drivers and cost efficiency culture.
- Own and drive VCP projects in the global warehouses and freight
- Own and drive the quality performance of the warehouse
- Ensure the warehouses are audit ready from Quality, Security and EHS
- Own and lead Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for warehouse operations
- Improvements to existing processes through Lean/Six Sigma tools, DBS and lean methodology.
- Monitor deviations in the operational processes and quality issues impacting on time fulfilment and drive corrective actions
- Coach applicable teams on root cause resolution to eliminate repeat issues
- Be the Warehouse operations focal point infront of DHR management and Logistics partners and develop a close collaboration with PM Sourcing, customer service, sales & service organizations.
- Lead improvements for on-time delivery performance for end customer for your assigned region.
- Work with UK plants to improve logistics/ warehousing strategy
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management and a minimum of 5 years in operational environment, order management, Distribution centres or warehouse management.
- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization
- Leadership & coaching
- Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
- Experience working in a compliant supply chain
- Effective problem solving, root cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change (cross functionally and globally).
- Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different countries and cultures.
- Solid experience of Oracle and SAP system (inventory/ warehouse/ planning user)
- Transportation & Customs business knowledge.
- Working experience from a GMP organization
