Job description

RJS Recruitment are supporting a Freight Forward Company based in Ipswich. Our client is seeking a UK Internal Sales Coordinator to help monitor and document the internal and external sales teams’ performance. You will publish data to aid internal and external development, activity and performance, publish data to branch / department to aid retention, growth, development, activity and performance monitoring.

The successful candidate will work as and be part of the sales team, monitoring and updating reports on a weekly / monthly / quarterly / YTD and report on use of CRM ensuring data is added to match the details in the BDM / BDE calendar. Monitor, update and report on Internal Sales progress, ie quote numbers, conversions etc. Consolidate documented information into presentation(s) for general and review meetings. Co-ordinate and provide support, data to the sales team. Monitor and document sales performance and progress towards prescribed targets and liaise with Social Media service provider.

Main Responsibilities

To ensure that all customer accounts are continuing to trade with the business. Overseas agent / No overseas agent report

To ensure all data held within the CRM system is up to date and accurate.

To monitor and to record field sales activities to enable the business to review the BDM and BDE sales performance levels.

To monitor and to record the Internal / Tele Sales activities to enable the business to review the sales performance levels

Monitor trading / non trading accounts within the group

Job Specifics

To ensure that all customer accounts are continuing to trade with the Business. Overseas agent / No overseas agent report

  • Monitor trading activity with key Partners – including job count analysis – quarterly
  • Provide updates, weekly / monthly / quarterly … as prescribed by the business
  • Report on jobs in month prior that did not have OS agent noted

To ensure all data held within the CRM system is up to date and accurate.

  • Monitor that data held is in line with BDM/BDE calendar.
  • Cross ref this data and send reminders / follow ups to BDM/BDE’s.
  • Remind field sales to update CRM details 1 week prior to month end.

Send sales team their CRM entries for previous month and get feedback / comments

To monitor and to record field sales activities to enable the business to review the BDM and BDE sales performance levels

  • Performance Packs – collate CRM info and sales teams’ activities, to be combined with financials (provided by CF).
  • Monitor and report activity levels.

To monitor and to record the Internal / Tele Sales activities to enable the business to review the sales performance levels.

  • Monitor call activity and report findings in line with targets set.
  • Monitor appointments gained in line with target set.
  • Monitor and report on quotation levels

Monitor trading / non trading accounts within the group

  • Identify / confirm accounts that haven’t traded for 3 months and flag any issue with an account
  • Identify / confirm accounts that have dropped off for 6 months (after 6 months officially non trading).
  • Double check source of account ie routed clients etc
  • Feedback comments recorded on ALL house accounts.
  • Change of staff assignment to be advised to CF / Finance
  • House accounts not traded in previous month and no future jobs in system identified and advised to GM’s / Internal Sales
  • Generate quarterly drop-off review packs
