Aramark UK is currently recruiting for a UK HR Director. This is an exciting and fast paced role serving clients across all industries in the UK and most importantly putting colleagues at the heart of everything we do! This director level role sitting on the UK Board will lead the business and the HR group to deploy and deliver strategic and focussed people programmes. This role reports to the President and CEO of the UK Business.

As UK HR Director, you will be responsible for providing a range of services and HR leadership for the Aramark UK teams, in addition to being required to shape and implement the UK HR people plan. You will be responsible for the provision of Operational HR services and deployment of strategic programs across the UK business region. Our successful candidate will have line management responsibility for the Human Resources team to include Business Partners, Advisors and HR Services, shared service centre including Payroll, Pensions and Learning and Development. The successful candidate will have ultimate responsibility for leading people which will encompass supporting the organisation to embed our Vision, Mission & Values and to build a culture of recognition and engagement. You will be a true partner to the business and be able to identify human resources solutions to help achieve targeted business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

· Leading people within the region and developing a high-performance culture and taking ownership to embed our Vision, Mission and Values

· Responsibility for building and executing the HR People plan to support the strategic objectives of Aramark

· Build a culture of engagement and recognition amongst the team through leading on career planning and building career pathways for our people

· Oversee, lead and guide the region on engagement activities

· Serve as a key change agent on new initiatives, programmes, and processes, to positively impact organisational culture

· Engage in internal and external best practice benchmarking to ensure continuous improvement

· Proactively support change and transformation activity to ensure company financial targets are achieved

· Support organisation design and redesign efforts whilst ensuring the right roles are in place and responsibilities are allocated appropriately

· Partner with finance to manage budgets and engage in the financial planning process around initiatives

· Build performance-based relationships with senior and middle managers and their direct reports

· Develop a compensation & benefits solution to ensure Aramark is well positioned in the marketplace

· Provide input and guidance to the MD’s around employee relations issues related to new business and/or prospects

· Engage in performance management and development of senior leadership teams

· Manage and develop a team of human resources professionals, including development plans, performance management, succession planning, CMP, engagement

· Act as an escalation point and provider of guidance on employee and industrial relations activities as needed, taking on a more involved leadership role on complex cases

· Develop and maintain a succession plan which supports the enhancement of and acquisition of key talent for the business

· Lead the Talent Acquisition team to develop our EVP proposition to ensure Aramark is an employer of choice

· Support enterprise diversity initiatives through partnership with the business and CSR group

· Ensure the requirements of the Business Conduct Policy are always fulfilled

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

· Demonstrated experience working within HR to include of all aspects of human resources, including but not limited to compensation and benefits, employee relations, employment law, leadership and talent management, training, systems and data, recruitment, performance management and engagement

· The ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve agreed targets and to success

· Experience of partnering with and influencing a senior executive and management teams

· Strong business & commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy and business plans into effective HR solutions

· Flexibility to travel

· Demonstrated ability in human resources principles across multiple client groups with different business models, challenges and requirements

· Proven track record in developing people and developing leaders

· Excellent communication skills with unquestionable integrity

· Self-motivated and resilient with ability to multi-task and prioritise in line with business demands
