**Remote role but, candidate must live within the UK
What You'll Do:
- Supervise the all day-to-day operations which make up the full accounting/finance function – AR/AP/GL/Banking and cash
- Oversee the regional financial analyst
- Manage the UK revenue recognition function to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Manage the month-end process and adhere to strict timeline and deadlines for corporate close
- Work closely with external regional accounting firm for tax preparation, statutory accounts preparation and audit, banking and other financial needs as necessary
- Work closely with the US team on the year end audit
- Assist with wrap up of the 2021 regional annual audit, where applicable
- Work closely with the US FP&A team on budget preparation, forecasting and variance analysis
- Report on the UK financial performance – monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Work with the US accounting team to establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
- Provide insightful information to the UK leadership team to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
- Work closely with the Sales team on new deals – assist with proposals and contracts
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation specific to the region
- Assist the US finance team as and when needed
- Cover financial analyst duties as and when needed
Who You Are:
- Plus if you are ACA qualified or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in a finance role
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using Salesforce and NetSuite desired
- Leadership skills and experience
- Managerial experience
- Understanding of data privacy standards
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of business principles and practices
