Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of warehouse racking and associated products across the South West and South Wales. This company are now looking to bring on a new Installations Project Manager to oversee their increasing number of projects. With a competitive basic salary, great earning potential and a number of other benefits, this a great opportunity for an experienced Installations Manager looking for a new role.
Responsibilities
· Managing projects of various sizes and values to fit customers’ requirements for racking, mezzanine flooring, partitioning and related products
· Creating project plans to fit with the expectations of the company’s clients; liaising with them throughout the duration of the project with progress reports
· Assisting the design team with creating warehouse layout plans, alterations and updates
· Visiting sites across the South West and South Wales regularly to liaise with site managers
· Travelling to customer sites further afield when required
Requirements
Racking & storage experience is highly preferable but the company would also consider shopfitting, partitioning or mezzanine experience. It is crucial that you have experience of working on site, having managed subcontractors and overseen installation projects. Holding some site-based certificates would also be highly preferable such as SMSTS od CSCS. Experience of ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to is also highly preferred. In terms of location, the company are open to applicants across the Midlands. The successful candidate will be expected to attend all customer sites up and down the country, staying overnight when required.

The Company
Our client is a distributor of warehouse racking products and services. With the bulk of their business being carried out across the South West and South Wales, they also have clients further afield across the UK. Their product range includes pallet racking, mezzanine flooring, partitioning, shelving and lighting. Their projects vary in size and they are also, as a SEMA certified company, able to offer racking inspections for their clients.
