Unineed is a fast growing online lifestyle retailer and e-commerce service provider offering over 150 Premium Designer brands and thousands of products across skincare, make up, fragrance, luxury handbags, watches, sunglasses, clothes and other accessories on the Unineed websites.
Unineed targets the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. Currently the company ships to over 150 other countries from its delivery canters in Glasgow, Texas & China.
Unineed is run by a group of young entrepreneurs. Our company is fast growing on the international market with an average of over 100% YOY revenue growth in the past years. Besides our Unineed Retail business line, we also offer an 'end-to-end' solution to help local traditional retailers transform to digital based international retailers, by building and marketing their international websites or selling through Unineed websites.
We aim to become the industrial leader for cross-border e-commerce in the next 10 years and become a global leader in the next 20 years to help brands, retailers and manufacturers expanding in the overseas market through digital channels.
This role presents an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company and work with an ambitious and values-driven team. This role will also give you the insights of the distribution side of cross-border e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research; learning about users and their behaviour, goals, motivations and needs
- Create user personas; identifying key user groups and creating representative personas of their behaviours and demographics
- Determine the information architecture of a digital product; organizing content within an app or website to guide the user to accomplish tasks or educate them about the product
- Create prototypes; generating an interactive final version of the product pre-development, which is either clickable or tangible
- Determine how users interact with products
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback and usability findings
- Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high fidelity mockups
- Communicate with product and engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership
- Ensure the voice of the customer is present by incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design
- Performing metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts
- Know how to use prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, or equivalent
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
