Senior Clinical Psychologist (with support for QiCN) Sheffield, England
Job description
We are looking for both band 7 and 8a clinical psychologists to work with us in our well established neuropsychology team. We have posts at both band 7 and band 8a; many of these hours are available due to previous post holders securing promotion into other roles. We have also secured additional investment to help reduce patient waiting times.
There are two band 7 roles (total 1.5wte) who will work into the neuropsychology outpatient clinic (based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Nether Edge) and the Osborn 4 post-acute neurorehabilitation ward at the Northern General Hospital (0.5wte). The 8a post is an inpatient role based in Osborn 4 and Older Adults (total 0.7wte); there may be opportunities in other services for candidates who wish to work full time.
Funding is available to support the 8a postholder to gain the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN). Similar support could also be sought for the band 7 posts, if desired. We actively support CPD and have a rolling CPD programme for the whole team including both local and guest speakers on a variety of topics.
New members of staff receive a warm welcome. There are options for hybrid/flexible working, and observation and shadowing are encouraged. All staff have a dedicated clinical supervisor.
