The Reach at Piccadilly, Manchester, a prestigious and elegant 215-room hotel within the renowned Tribute Portfolio, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Evening Waiter to join our dynamic team. We pride ourselves on offering a unique small plates dining experience where quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction are our top priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding service to our guests during evening hours, ensuring their dining experience is flawless and memorable.
- Offer detailed explanations of our small plates menu, guiding guests through their culinary journey and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Take and process orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of food.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant, including preparation and cleaning duties.
- Uphold our high standards of professionalism, courtesy, and teamwork, contributing to a positive and enjoyable work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred, particularly in small plates style service. Passion for the industry is also valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, including weekends and public holidays, as per the operational requirements.
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a genuine desire to exceed guests' expectations.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings is desirable.
